Product Development and Innovation

Our talented Product Development team has extensive know-how with both private label and branded products in a wide range of categories. Experienced in all areas of product research, new product formulations, technology transfer and best practices for reducing costs of formulations, the team collaborates with suppliers who can bring additional technical expertise and innovative solutions to ensure optimal product formulations.

Sourcing and Procurement

The KIK Classic procurement team works with a range of suppliers to bring technical expertise and innovative approaches to sourcing raw materials and packaging solutions, always with a focus on quality.

Leveraging the size and scale of the entire KIK Custom Products manufacturing network, we are able to negotiate with suppliers for optimal pricing that benefits individual customers. We also work continuously with our suppliers to improve the performance of our formulations and packaging.

Packaging Management

KIK Classic offers a wide range of packaging solutions tailored to the specific needs of each customer from concept to production. Our full packaging design capabilities have allowed us to successfully manage the entire packaging development process for our customers, ensuring speed to market and on-time delivery while always maintaining KIK's high quality standards.

Quality Assurance

KIK operates using a Total Quality Management system that involves all employees, at every level of the Company.

To achieve the high quality standards that our customers expect and deserve, KIK maintains current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) in all Classic plants. These practices include:

• Trending and continuous improvement processes
• Stability studies
• Auditing and external testing by our own quality experts, by third parties and by customers
• Rigorous in-process and finished product quality checks for all production runs
• Store level product reviews

Supply Chain

The Classic Division's fully integrated Supply Chain offers customers a wide range of value-added services including: demand planning; capacity planning for molding, filling and warehousing; centralized strategic materials management; vendor managed inventory (VMI) stocking programs; third-party Distribution Center management; global data network administration; centralized management of conversions; product launches, discontinuations and changes; and inventory optimization.

Our extensive capabilities and years of experience make KIK's Classic Division a natural strategic supply chain partner to many of our retailer customers.

Manufacturing and Distribution

KIK regularly invests in upgrading our manufacturing facilities to ensure we can offer customers the highest standards of efficiency, safety and quality, and continue to provide one of the best employee safety records in our industry.

Our North American footprint provides the most efficient manufacturing and warehousing solutions to meet all our customers' needs, with strategic locations to optimize transportation routes. Each manufacturing facility is equipped to provide key operations, including on-site bleach production with micron filtration; high-speed filling lines; vertically integrated blow molding; filling and packaging with automated sleeving; capping, case packing, palletizing and case erectors.
