Leadership

Jared Knudson
Jared joined KIK as CEO in December, 2018.  Prior to this role, Jared was CEO of The Crosby Group (a KKR Portfolio company) since 2016. Jared held several Business President roles within Private Equity, beginning with The GSI Group in 2011 and later Culligan International in 2013. He began his career at Ford Motor Company within Product Development finance. Jared holds dual degrees from the University of Notre Dame: a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science – Mechanical Engineering.

Steve Jackson
Steve joined KIK in December 2019 as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining KIK, he held positions as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with Anchor Glass, Driven Brands and Remington Arms Company where he also served as a Board member. Steve began his professional career with 13 years in the audit practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he left as a Partner in 2003. He brings over 25 years of proven leadership experience to KIK. Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Nichols College and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jennifer Alfaro
Jennifer joined KIK in 2019 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Prior to KIK, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at MORSCO since 2017. Jennifer previously held senior Human Resources roles with companies in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors including LMI Aerospace, B/E Aerospace, Dean Foods, Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Goodrich Corporation.

Jeff Schmitt
Jeff joined KIK as Chief Supply Chain Officer in April, 2019. Prior to this role, Jeff was the SVP of Global Supply Chain and R&D for the Outdoor and Recreation Division of Newell Brands. Jeff has held several executive leadership roles within Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Pitney Bowes, and Jarden Corp. He began his career as an Army Officer rising to the rank of Captain before joining the corporate workforce. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University and an MBA in operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Tim Feast
Tim is the President of the KIK Personal Care Division, which includes our contract manufacturing, prestige beauty, hotel guest amenities and sun care brands businesses. Tim has been with KIK since March 2018. Prior to joining KIK, Tim was President of the Food and Beverage division at Graham Packaging, a leader in blow molded containers with 40 manufacturing operations in North America. Before that he had a number of roles leading global business turnarounds in the plastics and specialty materials space.

Steve Olinger
Steve is the President of the KIK Household Division, and responsible for overseeing KIK’s North American Private Label and Branded Household products business. Steve has been with KIK for 14 years. Prior to joining KIK, Steve spent the majority of his career with leading CPG companies including P&G, Reckitt Benkiser, The Coca-Cola Company, and Nabisco. Roles included sales leadership and direct business management at different levels within each organization.
President, Household Care Division
Michael Sload
Michael is the President of the KIK Automotive Division comprised of the Prestone and Holts businesses. He is responsible for the division’s global operational and financial performance. Michael joined KIK in 2019 and previously spent 24 years at Colgate Palmolive in executive roles in general management and marketing. In his last role he was responsible for the company’s Global Personal Care business including leading brands such as Palmolive, Softsoap, Irish Spring, Speed Stick, Protex and Sanex. In addition, Michael held the position of Executive Vice President of Brand and Core Marketing at Mastercard. He holds a BA from Trinity College and an MBA from Tuck School at Dartmouth.
President, Auto Care Division
Jon Viner
Jon is the President of the KIK Pool Division (operating as BioLab), and responsible for overseeing KIK’s global water care business, including operations in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. While KIK acquired BioLab in 2013, Jon has been leading BioLab since 2009. Prior to joining BioLab, Jon held various senior level corporate and business financial leadership positions for global specialty chemical companies, Great Lakes Chemicals and Chemtura. Jon is a Chartered Accountant, and started his career at PwC in the U.K.

Isabelle Pierre
Isabelle is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel of KIK and joined the organization in 2017. Prior to joining KIK, Isabelle was Deputy General Counsel at General Dynamics Land Systems and had responsibility of the legal affairs of its international businesses. Before that, she held various positions with leading law firms and Fortune 100 companies.

Ari Sahakian
Ari joined KIK in 2014 and leads the Corporate Development activity, including mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining KIK, Ari was Vice President Corporate Development at a Canadian publicly listed healthcare services company, and PwC, as a Director in the Transaction Advisory group advising strategic and financial buyers on domestic and international transactions across a broad number of industries, including healthcare, technology and manufacturing. Ari is Chartered Accountant (Ontario) and Certified Public Accountant (Illinois), and holds a Masters in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo.

Scott Boze
Scott is the Senior Vice President, Transformation, which includes executing and refining KIK’s Goal Deployment Process and strategy. Scott has been with KIK since July 2019. Prior to joining KIK, Scott led Transformation and North American Finance at CSM Bakery Solutions, a global leader in bakery goods and ingredients. Before that he held strategy and transformation roles at The Coca-Cola Company and was a consultant with Bain & Company. Scott holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from UNC–Chapel Hill.

  • KIK builds North American network of private label bleach plants through a series of 8 acquisitions.

  • KIK acquires Lavo, a Canadian manufacturer and marketer of laundry and cleaning products.

  • KIK acquires James Austin Company, a U.S. manufacturer of household cleaning, pool and automotive products.

  • KIK acquires certain assets and rights of the household cleaning brands: Comet, Spic and Span, Chore Boy, Cinch and Chlorinol.

  • KIK acquires NC Brands L.P., a leading provider of specialty chemicals for recreational pools and spas in North America.
